Map of Greece 1665
This map of Greece was originally published in 1665 as a part of the 11 volume Atlas Maior by Joan Blaeu. Blaeu's atlas is considered to be the greatest atlas ever published, in its own time and even today. First published in Latin, it was later translated in French, Dutch, German, and Spanish. This map is part of the Latin version of the Atlas, although most of the words are Italian. Latin is essentially used in the cartouche section of the map.
