Virginia Map 1939

This 1939 hand colored pictorial map of Virginia depicts historical events that took place between 1585 and 1781 in Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown. It shows battles fields, settlements and the burning of towns, as well as event related to Captain John Smith, trading with Indians, captured, brought before King Powhatan, and finally saved by Pocahontas on January 5, 1608.

Our prints of vintage maps come in 3 sizes on archival enhanced matte photo paper. They are made to fit into the standard sizes listed (see sample photo for sizes above) each with a proportional white border for matting.

For the U.S. we use USPS Priority Mail which delivers within 1 to 3 days.
For outside the U.S. we use USPS Priority Mail International which averages 6 to 10 days. Europe might take a little longer due to customs.

All maps are shipped rolled in a rigid tube.
