Map of Flying - 1942
This 1942 color pictorial story map of flying, originally mounted on linen, chronicles man's conquest of the air. Designed by Ernest Dudley Chase, the map uses a polar Azimuthal Equidistant Projection and is filled with drawings and images of flying machines with descriptive text. Includes notes and a compass rose in the center of Arctic Circle.
Our Vintage Map prints come in multiple sizes on Archival Epson Enhanced Matte Paper. They are made with a 1/8 inch white border.
