This 1939 version of Chase's 1935 black and white pictorial map of the British Isles shows various sites, buildings, industries and landmarks. It includes illustrations of steamboats, ships, and vignettes of structures and significant landmarks. The title is framed by an ornamental cartouche, and coat of Arms. It also includes a compass rose on the lower center margin. Relief is shown pictorially. Signed by Chase.
